Internet Vikings has named former Orange Business head Nicklas Insulander as the hosting provider’s new COO.
Insulander most recently served as managing director at Orange Business, which is the enterprise B2B arm of the mobile network giant.
He moved to Orange after the French firm snapped up Basefarm in a €350m deal in 2018.
Insulander had been with Basefarm, which was a leading European firm in the cloud-based infrastructure and services sector, since 2014.
Insulander will join Internet Vikings in October and be responsible for overseeing “operational strategy and support Internet Vikings’ continued organisational development”.
Internet Vikings said Insulander’s arrival formed part of the supplier’s ambition to strengthen “its leadership capabilities and operational foundation to support sustainable international growth”.
Internet Vikings was founded in 2008 and provides hosting tech to operators across North America and Europe.
The group has offices in Malta as well as the Swedish capital of Stockholm.
The supplier’s clients include US online casino challenger brand PlayStar, BetMGM and fellow suppliers Kambi, EveryMatrix and Bragg.
