BOYLE Sports has announced a major rollout of its new Squad Builder feature following a beta testing period with a select pool of customers over the summer.

The feature allows customers to pick a squad of two to five players within the same or different matches.

Users will then be able to select a series of prop markets, ranging from goals and assists to tackles and fouls.

BOYLE Sports customers will then be able to set overall targets for each market, with the selected players all contributing.

For example, ahead of the Premier League’s opening weekend, users could select Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz from Arsenal, Bryan Mbeumo from Manchester United and Liverpool players .

That squad could then have a target of five goals, three assists and two cards.

BOYLE Sports has also pushed out a series of pre-built squads, which management said would provide “ready-made selections as an accessible starting point”.

The operator’s Sub Swap proposition, whereby when a player is substituted the betting selection rolls over to the replacement, will be embedded in Squad Builder.

Squad Builder was launched quietly over the summer, with BOYLE Sports now adding the product to major football leagues.

Sky Bet has a similar product while also offering Squad Battle, in which users can pick two competing squads and select which group of players will outperform the other.

BOYLE Sports is in the process of expanding its Serbian tech hub and hiring engineering muscle as part of “two major transformation programmes” for the omnichannel firm.

Headed up by ex-William Hill head Vlad Kaltenieks as CEO, the Dundalk-headquartered bookmaker announced a £100m investment into the UK last year.

How Squad Builder bets appear in the betslip

BOYLE Sports has retained its front-of-shirt sponsorship of West Ham despite the Hammers’ relegation to the Championship.

The operator has also penned a fresh deal to become Leeds United’s official UK and Ireland betting partner.

Adam Matues, BOYLE Sports head of sportsbook, said: “Squad Builder gives football fans a brand new way to back themselves.

“While traditional bet builders tie specific players to certain outcomes, Squad Builder allows a chosen squad to all contribute towards shared stats targets.

“Millions of fans pick teams every week because they enjoy weighing up form, roles and the players who can make a difference.

“Squad Builder brings that same instinct into a new format, giving customers more freedom to shape the selection their own way, through single or multi-match squads.”
