Superbet has appointed Marcus Berry as the operator’s new head of in-play offers.

The exec joins the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) operator having spent the past seven years at betting platform SportCast.

After joining as head of trading in June 2017, he was named head of commercial product in September 2020.

Berry was then promoted to global partnerships director in October 2021, and finally global partnerships and customer success director from June 2023 to July 2024.

Prior to SportCast, he had a brief spell at Ladbrokes Coral Group as football liquidity manager between June 2016 and June 2017.

Berry also spent three years at Sky Betting and Gaming from 2013 to 2016, initially as football risk and liabilities manager before transitioning to football in-play manager in 2014.

He also spent four years as a senior bookmaker at Australian operator Centrebet between March 2007 to December 2011.

Announcing his appointment on LinkedIn, Berry wrote: “I’m thrilled to share that I’ve started a new chapter in my career with Superbet. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to contribute to such an innovative and dynamic company.

“A big thank you to everyone who has supported and guided me along the way. I’ve learned so much from my previous roles, and I’m excited to bring that experience to this new challenge.

“I’m ready to work hard, learn even more and contribute to the great work being done here. Looking forward to the journey ahead.”

Berry’s hire came after a major reshuffle of Superbet’s C-suite. Chief revenue officer Adam Shaw announced his departure from the company this week after five years.

Earlier this month, founder Sacha Dragic had returned to the company as co-CEO.

Meanwhile, Albert Simsensohn took on the role of COO, Andrei Dusu moved up to the position of chief product officer, Sameen Jalal was appointed as the group’s new chief technology officer, Adam Lamentowicz became chief commercial officer (CCO) for CEE and Eamonn O’Loughlin became CCO for international.
