SBC is gearing up for its second SBC Summit Rio, marking the introduction of the Affiliate Leaders Summit—a pivotal platform designed to align affiliates and operators with Brazil’s burgeoning market opportunities. This new segment aims to assist stakeholders in navigating the nation’s dynamic regulations, as well as the unique behaviors and preferences that characterize its players.
Rasmus Sojmark, the CEO and Founder of SBC, emphasized the importance of affiliates within the industry, noting their crucial role in helping operators establish a foothold in emerging markets. With this strategic value in mind, the Affiliate Leaders Summit at SBC Summit Rio is set to offer a dedicated space for both collaboration and insight into the latest strategies shaping Brazil’s market dynamics. This initiative is intended to equip participants with the insights needed to thrive in the region.
Scheduled for February 25–27, 2025, at Rio de Janeiro’s Riocentro, the upcoming SBC Summit Rio is expecting to host 15,000 delegates, including 6,000 leading operators active in or targeting Brazil, alongside 1,500 affiliates focused on enhancing market penetration and traffic acquisition.
The summit will boast a specialized exhibition area and a robust educational program, addressing the key issues impacting Brazil’s affiliate network. Attendees on the exhibition floor can look forward to forming partnerships with elite operators and affiliates. Notable brands set to participate include Better Collective, Bet365, Blaze, Bwise Media, Casa de Apostas, Clever Advertising, Esportes da Sorte, KeyAffiliates, Oddscanner, Rivalo, and Superbet Brazil.
In the conference segment, attendees will benefit from detailed discussions on topics such as maneuvering through Brazil’s newly regulated market, developing targeted marketing campaigns, optimizing localized SEO strategies, and driving impactful marketing efforts while upholding ethical practices.
A particular highlight will be the panel discussion titled “Your Traffic’s Journey – Beyond Traditional Models,” which will delve into the significance of understanding traffic sources, especially in Brazil, where platforms like WhatsApp play a crucial role. Experts Yuri Campos (Head of Growth and Media, Samba Digital), João Sobreira (Co-founder, Tipspace), Bruno Barroso (CEO, BetPass), and Idomar Filho (CMO, BetFive), with moderation by Julyana Simoes (Panregional Sales Director, Futbol Sites), will tackle the challenges of traffic evaluation, identifying key metrics for monetization, and adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes.
