### PokerStars Collaborates with Philadelphia Flyers
PokerStars has expanded its presence in the National Hockey League (NHL) by partnering with the Philadelphia Flyers. This collaboration with the Flutter Entertainment-owned online poker brand marks another significant NHL alliance.
As an official partner, PokerStars will showcase its branding during Flyers’ home games at the Wells Fargo Center, as well as in televised advertisements. The partnership also brings exciting opportunities for PokerStars players, who can compete for game tickets and autographed team merchandise through exclusive poker tournaments and monthly giveaways hosted on PokerStars Casino.
Rob Battista, Senior Director of Commercial at PokerStars North America, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are delighted to join forces with such an esteemed hockey team. Hockey fans are incredibly passionate, and we look forward to working with the Flyers to offer thrilling tournaments and rewards to our communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.”
This deal with the Flyers adds to PokerStars’ existing NHL partnerships. The online poker brand also collaborates with the Detroit Red Wings in Michigan and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment in Ontario, which oversees the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and Toronto Raptors (NBA).
Todd Glickman, Chief Revenue Officer of Comcast Spectacor, remarked, “We’re thrilled to have PokerStars join the Flyers family. Their commitment to innovation and providing remarkable rewards and experiences to players complements our aim to engage with our amazing fan base.”
In related news, PokerStars’ parent company Flutter recently announced its third-quarter financial results, showcasing a notable rise in revenue and adjusted EBITDA. In the United States, revenue surged by 51% over the previous year, reaching $1.3 billion in 2023, up from $828 million.
