OpenBet has announced the acquisition of lottery technology supplier OmniLogic in an undisclosed deal.

The transaction is subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

OmniLogic, which is headquartered in Hungary, specialises in building technology solutions for the lottery and wider igaming industry.

The supplier’s partners include tier-one operators, World Lottery Association (WLA) members and state lotteries in multiple jurisdiction worldwide.

The deal will see OpenBet expand its offering to regulated lottery markets across the globe, “adding established operator partnerships and specialist sportsbook expertise to its global business”.

An OpenBet statement read: “The OmniLogic team has provided sportsbook technology services to major regulated lottery operators and WLA members for over a decade.

“The platform powers omnichannel betting operations across retail, online and mobile for major lottery and betting operators across EMEA, with capabilities spanning trading, risk management and back-office functionality.

“The acquisition will add further scale, technology expertise and operational depth to OpenBet’s global business, strengthening its position as a trusted partner to tier-one operators across complex, highly regulated betting markets worldwide.”

OmniLogic’s team, based primarily in the Hungarian city of Győr, will join OpenBet to support its development of sportsbook technology across retail and digital avenues.

Regarding the deal, OpenBet president Nikos Konstakis said: “OpenBet has built its leadership position by partnering with leading operators in the world’s most demanding regulated markets, and this acquisition is a natural extension of that strategy. It adds proven technology, specialist expertise and established customer partnerships that complement our existing capabilities and strengthen our global business.

“Lotteries remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements. Bringing that expertise into OpenBet further strengthens our position in the global lottery market.

“We look forward to welcoming the OmniLogic team to OpenBet and building on the strong foundations they have created.”

OmniLogic co-founders Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor added: “Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise and long-term partnership.

“Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses.

“For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today. For our team, it creates an exciting opportunity to become part of a global organisation with a strong commitment to the lottery sector.”

OpenBet recorded its highest ever volume for a single event earlier this year, processing more than $3bn worth of bets during the 2026 World Cup.
