Oddschecker has announced an update to its odds grid that sees William Hill move up to second position, behind bet365.

The amended grid also means Unibet is promoted from ninth to third, while Betfred climbs from 11th to fourth.

However, Paddy Power has slid from third to 23rd, and sister brand Sky Bet has fallen from second to 22nd.

William Hill, which has replaced Sky Bet in second, was previously fourth.

Bet365 remains in first place, having held it since 2006, with 888sport rounding out the top five positions.

BetMGM, which finds itself in eight place, was first added to the grid in October 2023 in 12th place after making its UK debut the month prior.

Meanwhile, independent online, retail and on-course bookmaker Star Sports, which made its debut on the grid in April 2023 in 14th, sits in 12th two years later.

There are currently 24 bookmakers featured on oddschecker’s grid, as well as two betting exchanges: Betfair and Matchbook.

Oddschecker noted that the changes reflect the positive momentum and “deepening commercial relationships with three of the most ambitious and active brands in the UK betting space”.

The affiliate also highlighted that being placed higher on the grid offers operators “significant performance advantages” with increased “visibility, brand equity and customer conversion potential”.

Andrew Bramley, oddschecker commercial director, said: “We’re excited to see the impact for William Hill, Unibet and Betfred from taking up these premium grid positions.

“These changes are a reflection of strong partnerships, shared ambition and a belief in the unique value oddschecker brings in connecting bettors with the best brands in the market.”

Oddschecker, which is owned by FairPlay Sports Media, claims its grid influences 6%-10% of all UK online bets.

Last month, FairPlay Sports Media published its Operator Tracker Q1 2025 on EGR.
