LeoVegas Group has rolled out its proprietary sportsbook across all four of its brands in Sweden after completing the migration on the eponymous LeoVegas brand.
The in-house tech, dubbed ‘Tiger’, had previously been launched on GoGoCasino, BetMGM and expekt in the Nordic market.
Tiger has been developed after LeoVegas Group parent MGM Resorts International snapped up Tipico’s US-facing sportsbook technology.
The deal was announced in 2024 as part of the Las Vegas giant’s aspirations to build-out a full sports betting and gaming ecosystem for MGM Digital – fronted by LeoVegas Group.
MGM Resorts International acquired LeoVegas Group in 2022 in a deal worth more than $600m.
Supplier Push Gaming was then bought to bolster the online casino content offering.
Tiger was first launched in Denmark on the LeoVegas and expekt brands in July 2025.
Then, in January 2026, the technology was set live with BetMGM, a JV between MGM and local media giant Grupo Globo, in Brazil.
GoGoCasino was the first Swedish brand to add the Tiger tech in April of this year, with BetMGM going live in the same month.
Last month, LeoVegas Group announced that expekt customers would also benefit from the Tiger product following the successful transition.
The operator said the launch was timely given the upcoming World Cup. Sweden find themselves in a group with the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia.
LeoVegas Group still has a turnkey partnership in place with Kambi through to the end of 2027.
The deal was extended in the summer of 2025, with the operator also gaining access to Kambi’s Odds Feed+ product.
The pair first began working together in 2016. LeoVegas Group started life as an igaming-first, mobile operator.
Mattias Wedar, LeoVegas Group CEO, said: “In under two months, we have migrated all our brands in Sweden to our proprietary sportsbook, Tiger, and I couldn’t be more proud of this amazing achievement.
“Numerous teams have worked tirelessly to ensure sports fans across Sweden can benefit from this superior user experience in time for the World Cup.
“Just as Rhino played a major role in LeoVegas’ initial success, I am confident Tiger is a game-changer, making us more agile, independent and future proof.
“The numbers from our previous launches have been very positive, and I can’t wait to see all the hard work from Team Leo come to fruition.”
