Global Gaming Women (GGW) has appointed Pamela Buckley, who previously worked as a director at Caesars Entertainment, as their new executive vice-president (EVP).

In her new role, Buckley will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to drive the group’s growth, reporting directly to GGW’s executive director, Kelly Hatch.

Buckley brings extensive experience in the gaming industry to GGW. Her most recent position was at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where she served as the executive director of casino VIP services and loyalty club.

While at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Buckley significantly contributed to establishing and optimizing the company’s casino VIP services department during her 15 months there, from October 2023 to December 2024.

Prior to this, Buckley spent 13 years at Caesars Entertainment. She began her career there in July 2010 as a casino sales executive and advanced to inside sales manager in April 2014. She ultimately rose to the role of director of VIP operations and sales, her final position with the company.

Buckley first entered the gaming industry in January 2008 as an executive casino host at Planet Hollywood, before moving to Caesars two years later.

Global Gaming Women was established in 2016 to promote the inclusion of women in the gaming sector, where they have traditionally been underrepresented.

Expressing her enthusiasm for her new position, Buckley stated: “I am honored to join Global Gaming Women. I look forward to supporting, inspiring, and influencing the advancement of women in the gaming industry.”

“I have benefited from incredible mentors throughout my career, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to give back and help create equal opportunities for women in the gaming industry globally.”

Buckley also noted her family’s deep roots in the gaming industry, recalling, “My father and uncle held various roles in casino operations and marketing, and my sister and I grew up exploring the back halls of places like Tropicana, Dunes, and Bally’s hotel, so perhaps it was inevitable that I would find my place in this industry.”

GGW president and board chair, Lauren Bates, expressed excitement over Buckley’s addition to the team: “We are thrilled to welcome Pamela. Her extensive leadership experience and commitment to community align perfectly with our vision for the future.”

“Pamela’s demonstrated success in driving growth, building strong teams, and nurturing key relationships will be vital as we aim to enhance our offerings and boost member engagement.”
