FanDuel has entered into a partnership with Crypto.com to deliver an expanded event contracts offering for its prediction markets platform, FanDuel Predicts.

The Flutter Entertainment brand has entered an agreement with Crypto.com’s CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse, OG Prediction Markets, to bolster its product.

FanDuel Predicts will now be able to offer new event contracts across sports and entertainment, while also introducing the capability for combination contracts.

The new event contract selection will be made available to customers this week, coinciding with the start of the 2026 World Cup.

FanDuel first launched the FanDuel Predicts platform in December via a joint venture with derivatives marketplace CME Group.

Initially only available in Alabama, Alaska, South Carolina, North Dakota and South Dakota, the platform completed its phased rollout into all 50 US states in January.

FanDuel rival DraftKings penned a similar deal with Crypto.com to bolster its offering, including adding prop markets, in February.

Both operators have spoken about spending close to $300m on their respective prediction market products this year. The addition of combos, which are akin to bet builders, is viewed as a key milestone for the pair.

James Cooper, senior vice-president of flywheel and new ventures at FanDuel, said: “FanDuel Predicts was built to deliver a best-in-class prediction market experience to our customers. These additional product sets give our customers more choices by expanding the breadth of sports and entertainment contracts on our platform.”

Crypto.com’s chief business officer Joe Anzures added: “We are thrilled to partner with FanDuel Predicts to bring a new level of depth and experience to its prediction markets experience.

“By leveraging our robust, regulated exchange and clearinghouse infrastructure, we are enabling a mainstream prediction markets experience just in time for the World Cup – underscoring our capability to deliver scalable, regulated derivatives infrastructure for the world’s biggest moments.”

Crypto.com also counts Underdog as a prediction markets partner, with the DFS operator acting as a broker for the exchange’s designated contract market (DCM) and derivatives clearing organisation (DCO).

FanDuel, alongside DraftKings and Fanatics, left the American Gaming Association in November due to its vehement opposition of the prediction markets space.
