Delasport has successfully achieved GLI certification as it gears up to launch its sportsbook services in Brazil.
According to the guidelines established by Brazil’s Secretariat for Prizes and Betting (SPA), companies seeking a license must include additional certification with their application to demonstrate compliance with technical standards.
Once operators receive approval, they can proceed to pay the Brazilian license fee, which is currently set at 30 million BRL (£3.9 million).
Delasport selected Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) as its certification partner, recognizing GLI’s significant influence in Brazil. GLI stands out as the initial lab accredited by SPA for certifying betting systems, live game studios, and online games.
Filippo Ferri, Chief Compliance Officer at Delasport, stated, “Upon realizing that platform certificates were crucial for our partners to secure licenses, we prioritized submitting our system to GLI for testing.”
He added, “GLI excelled in collaborating with us to conduct tests promptly, ensuring we met our clients’ submission deadlines.”
Ferri also praised the collaboration of Delasport’s internal teams in attaining the certification and advancing the delivery of a SIGAP-compliant data vault system.
Operators interested in entering the Brazilian market can collaborate with Delasport to utilize its My Sportsbook, My Event Builder, and My Combo personalization features, designed to enhance customer loyalty and increase revenue.
Furthermore, Delasport implements an AI-driven, real-time Responsible Gambling system that swiftly adjusts to changes in local regulations.
The company is committed to high standards of KYC and AML compliance and has partnered with key Brazil-oriented payment providers.
