Circa Contest Entry Fees & Guaranteed Prizes
Here is the breakdown on entry fees and prizes for all three Circa contests, with each pool featuring no rake. Any additional entries that exceed the guaranteed prize amount will increase the pool’s winnings, too.
| Contest | Entry Fee | Guaranteed Prize |
| Circa Survivor | $1,000 | $20 million |
| Circa Million VIII | $1,000 | $6 million |
| Circa Grandissimo | $100,000 | $4 million |
Circa contest entrants are tasked with picking one outright winner in the NFL over 20 weeks, and of course, you can only use a team once.
Five Circa Survivor winners did exactly that and split what was then a record 18.7M prize pool in last season’s contest. Each winning entry received $3,743,600.
For Circa Grandissimo, six winners received $1,150,000 from the $6,900,000 prize pool. COYNEHOP-1 claimed $1 million for winning Circa Million VII after a tiebreaker.
An Early Look at Week 1 NFL Survivor Picks
It’s never too early to look at Survivor picks. We’ve pinpointed two teams in Week 1 that stand out as potential Survivor selections to start the season. Spreads and moneyline odds are via DraftKings and current as of publication.
Cardinals vs. Chargers (-11.5, -625 on Moneyline)
The Cardinals have the NFL’s lowest season win total at 3.5 after winning just three games last year. Journeyman quarterback Jacoby Brissett will start for Arizona, which might get an offensive bump from rookie RB Jeremiyah Love. There are huge question marks surrounding Arizona’s defense.
The Chargers aren’t projected to have an easier matchup all season. On that basis, it makes some sense to use them in Week 1. Then again, Los Angeles does have other favorable matchups in Week 2 (Raiders) and Week 11 (Jets) if you opt to save the Chargers.
Browns vs. Jaguars (-7.5, -380)
Here’s another home team with a promising matchup to start the new season. The Jags won the AFC South with a 13-4 record last season. Trevor Lawrence found his stride, leading Jacksonville back to the playoffs for the first time in three years.
Cleveland is coming off a five-win season, and the Browns enter the new campaign with defensive juggernaut Myles Garrett. He gladly left to join the Rams, who are favored to win Super Bowl 61.
The Browns still haven’t named a starting quarterback. Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders are splitting reps, but Dillon Gabriel has also performed well early in training camp. Then, there’s also sixth-round draft pick Taylen Green.
Honestly, we’re not sure if any of those options will be good enough to get the Browns out of the AFC North basement. This is a prime time to play Jacksonville, who may not be favored by this many points for the rest of the season.
