BGaming has received an official permit to offer igaming services in Peru, marking a significant move towards the company’s expansion within Latin America.

Peru’s gambling authority, known as Mincetur, awarded BGaming a B2B license. This approval was contingent upon the company’s gaming software and customer engagement offerings complying with local standards.

With this new license, BGaming is set to enter Peru’s recently regulated gaming sector, further solidifying its presence in the Latin American market—a region where the company has steadily increased its footprint over the past year.

Marina Ostrovtsova, the CEO of BGaming, commented, “Obtaining the Peru license is a crucial step in our international growth. It not only bolsters our footprint in Latin America but also highlights our dedication to delivering top-notch, engaging gaming experiences to new audiences.”

She added, “We are thrilled about the growth opportunities this will present, as well as how our slots will be received in this emerging market.”

Mincetur, which stands for Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, assumed control of the country’s gaming license supervision and financial oversight in 2023 under a directive from President Dina Boluarte.

Earlier this year, the agency announced Yuri Guerra Padilla as the new President of the General Directorate of Gambling. This appointment followed the unexpected removal of his predecessor, Eduardo Sevilla Echevarria, although no reasons were provided for the decision.
