Betr has announced the promotion of three long-serving executives into C‑suite roles as the micro-betting-focused operator continues to scale its multi‑product gaming platform.

Alex Ursa has been named COO, Alex Kuwada becomes chief marketing officer (CMO), and Mike Denevi moves into the role of chief content officer (CCO).

All three previously held senior leadership positions within the Miami-based business founded by Joey Levy and the influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul and were among its earliest hires.

Ursa (below), Betr’s first employee who joined after eight years at Flutter, steps into the COO role after more than four years leading product development as head of gaming.

He will oversee operations and the continued buildout of the company’s ‘super app’ ecosystem, which comprises Picks, Social Sportsbook, Social Casino, and Arcade, with a prediction market product slated for launch later this year, in partnership with Polymarket.

Kuwada, who joined Betr has head of marketing in 2024 after six years at FanDuel in growth leadership roles, becomes CMO, with oversight of marketing, growth, and commercial performance.

Denevi, Betr’s second hire and a former brand strategy chief at sports media platform Bleacher Report, becomes CCO after four years as head of media.

He will continue to oversee brand strategy and social media, where the company claims to be “the most followed real-money gaming brand in the world”.

Commenting on the three promotions, Betr founder and CEO Levy said: “Alex Ursa is overseeing one of the most impressive product development feats in industry history – the development of a super app spanning several real-money gaming products and prediction markets across one app and one wallet experience.

“Alex Kuwada is successfully building a paid-organic marketing hybrid growth engine that has yielded the best unit economics in the industry.

“And Mike Denevi is overseeing the development of one of the strongest, most differentiated brands in the industry – that is also now the most followed.”

Levy continued: “We would not be where we are today without these three executives and I am thrilled to continue scaling Betr into a category defining business with them.”

Earlier this year, DraftKings announced its own plans to launch a ‘super app’, with all products housed in one platform, a move Levy described as “incredibly validating”.
