Three new titles sit atop all podium positions in the European slot rankings for the month of May, with Pragmatic Play grabbing first and second and NetEnd taking third.
Big Bass Bonanza moved up one place to the top spot, likewise Big Bass Splash climbed one place into second.
While Pragmatic Play enjoyed the number one and two spots, NetEnt’s Starburst made a move from fourth to third to round out the top three, while Play’n GO’s Book of Dead fell three spots to fourth. Pragmatic Play maintained its third title in the top five as Gates of Olympus held its fifth-place spot from April.
Play’n GO’s Legacy of Dead was the only game to fall out of the top 10 in May, slipping from seventh to 11th.
The biggest mover of the month was Inspired Entertainment’s Gold Cash Free Spins, which rose 31 spots from 47th to 16th, while Spribe’s Aviator also saw a double-digit leap from 25th to 15th.
No new titles made it into the top 20 rankings for May but three titles did fall out completely, with Games Global’s 333 Boom Banks Power Combo (ranked 17th in April), Pragmatic Play’s Sugar Rush 1000 (18th) and EGT’s Shining Crown (19th) all losing their respective spots.
EGaming Monitor (EGM), EGR’s data partner, tracks casino sites to collate the monthly slots rankings. It analyses game pages of more than 3,600 casino sites globally, with the European rankings being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
Over 1,190 sites were covered by EGM in Europe for the May rankings.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
For the May rankings, EGM tracked 17,780 games from 438 studios in 32 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
