Yolo Entertainment has elevated Sandra Vask, who previously led their legal department, to the role of Chief Operating Officer, coinciding with the announcement of four strategic appointments within the company.
Vask’s journey with Yolo Entertainment, based in Tallinn, began in May 2019 as a junior legal counsel, gradually advancing within their legal team. In January 2023, she took on the role of leading counsel for the B2B sector, progressing to head of legal for both B2C and B2B sectors by July 2023.
Accompanying Vask’s new role, Yolo Group has welcomed three new directors to its team.
Anthony Cabrera has become the director of Bitcasino, the B2C online casino brand. Before joining, Cabrera served as CEO of Zamba, a Colombia-centric operator, until December 2022, and has held positions such as Entain’s head of gaming for Latam and head of digital services under its former name, GVC.
Additionally, Amy Howard assumes the role of director of retention, managing CRM and VIP operations. Her new role is based in Melbourne, following over a year at UBET as vice-president of marketing.
The third appointment is Alexander McLoughlin, the former head of casino marketing at Bally’s, now serving as director of core markets for Asia. McLoughlin’s background includes joining Gamesys Group in May 2020 as casino operations manager and advancing to head of casino operations for Bally’s by November 2021.
Yolo Entertainment’s CEO, Matthew D’Emanuele, praised the appointments, emphasizing the positive impact expected as they pursue growth in 2025. He highlighted Sandra’s vast expertise as essential for the company’s day-to-day operations and noted Anthony’s significant experience as pivotal for Bitcasino’s continued success into 2024.
D’Emanuele further noted Amy’s extensive industry and non-industry experience as crucial for enhancing customer retention strategies, and Alexander’s operational prowess provides assurance for Yolo’s critical markets in Asia. Together, their combined experience, vision, and leadership are anticipated to bolster Yolo Entertainment’s objectives for consistent growth.
The organization’s recent focus on talent acquisition followed an earlier promotion of Piret Ploom to director of people this October.
