Yolo Entertainment has snapped up former Betway head Stephanie Eddy as the crypto-first operator’s new chief revenue officer (CRO).

Eddy will serve as CRO for the B2C division of Yolo Group, which houses Sportsbet.io, Bitcasino and Slots.io.

She moves to the business after a more than 10-year stint with Super Group-owned Betway across several positions.

Having joined the operator in 2013 in its affiliate marketing division, she shifted to the bingo department before becoming a country manager for developing markets in 2017.

Eddy was then named head of international markets for the Rest of the World the following year and later moved up to commercial development director in January 2024.

In her new position, she will be responsible for overseeing Yolo Entertainment’s commercial performance across “across key regions and strategic channels”.

Bosses added that Eddy would play a key role in driving revenue growth and enhancing the efficiency of its acquisition funnel.

In April, Yolo Entertainment announced a host of senior hires, including former bet365 head James Clark as global head of content and SEO.

And in March, the operator confirmed appointments of three C-level execs, including a new chief product and technology officer and chief data officer.

Speaking on her move to the operator, Eddy said: “Yolo Entertainment has consistently pushed boundaries in gaming and crypto.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at this exciting moment and help take these world-class brands to even greater heights.”

Matthew D’Emanuele, Yolo Entertainment CEO, added: “Steph is a proven leader with the commercial instincts and strategic vision that align perfectly with our ambitions, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our leadership team.

“Steph’s appointment underscores our commitment to accelerating the growth of Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino, expanding our brand and product portfolio, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

“Steph’s expertise will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our global presence.”
