Xace has named former Aristocrat Interactive and Betsson head Megan Easey as its new CEO, replacing the business’ co-founder David Hodkinson in the process.
Xace, which brands itself as an “alternative banking provider” was founded in 2020 and supports payments solutions across igaming, crypto and fintech.
The business had been headed up by Hodkinson, who will now step aside to for Easey to take up the reins.
She joins having most recently served as director of operations for Aristocrat Interactive between October 2023 and April of this year.
Her previous industry experience includes stints at Videoslots, Betsson, Betway and bwin.
Easey and Hodkinson have been working together since April after she joined Lunicorn Ventures as its group director of operations.
Hodkinson is the founding partner of the venture capital firm, which has investments across multiple businesses, including Xace and industry recruitment firm TalentBet.
Lunicorn Ventures’ team also includes former Yolo Group commercial director Mark Taffler as director of strategy and Colin Rutherford as a general partner.

In May, Xace opened a new office in Cyprus, which the supplier said would better allow it to support its clients.
