VICI deal follows transaction between Pure Casino Entertainment and GameHost
VICI Properties is spending US$144.4m on the real estate assets of Deerfoot Inn & Casino, Great Northern Casino and two limited-service hotels that are adjacent to the Great Northern Casino located in Alberta, Canada.
The deal follows Pure Casino Entertainment Limited Partnership’s pending take-private acquisition of Gamehost Inc. Pure operates casinos in Alberta and is privately held by Indigenous Gaming Partners, a gaming partnership between five Nova Scotia First Nations and Sonco Gaming Inc.
