Tombola has launched a new app for its tombola Arcade arm, with the Flutter Entertainment-owned operator hailing the update as a “massive milestone”.

Tombola Arcade is an online slots and instant wins brand that differs from tombola’s core bingo offering in that it offers blackjack, roulette and other arcade content, though the social aspect of tombola, including live chatrooms, is likewise a facet on tombola Arcade.

The operator has said that all of the games on tombola Arcade are made in-house.

“Tombola has curated a premium selection designed specifically for its audience – choosing mechanics players love, themes that resonate, and safety built into every spin – all informed by player insight from tombola’s highly engaged customer base,” the firm noted.

Tombola added that players can now win up to £10,000 per game, a five-fold increase from the previous £2,000 cap.

The Sunderland-based operator was sold to Flutter in 2021 in a £402m deal. The tombola Arcade brand was originally launched in 2016.

The brand has relaunched to market with a new ‘For Fun’s Sake’ tagline, accompanied by the new app, exclusive content and fresh promo tools.

Those include the Super Spins daily free-to-play game, 100% bonus match up to £50 as well as free spins.

The new app also includes a shuffle function, whereby users are pushed to a randomised game on the tombola Arcade.

A live leaderboard of winnings and a ticker for the number of players on the site are also included.

On the responsible gambling front, tombola Arcade features the tombola ‘safeplay’ tools.

The app states that tombola Arcade will give users a £1 bonus after a player puts a spending limit in place for the first time.

Stake limits, time keepers, specific game freezes, cooling-off breaks and self-exclusion tools are all signposted.

Tombola’s YouTube channel has also begun to be populated with content featuring viral social media star ‘Grime Gran’, as the operator begins a fresh marketing push.

The revamp comes as remote gaming duty in the UK jumped from 21% to 40% on 1 April.

The operator added that the reimagined product would allow tombola to “compete in the casino-led gaming market and unlock significant growth opportunities.”

Marion Ryan, tombola managing director, said: “This isn’t just a product refresh. It’s a strategic entry into a market where differentiation matters.

“We’re bringing 20 years of responsible gaming credentials, trusted brand heritage, and genuine innovation.

“Our customers deserve games featuring refreshed slots and instant-win games built with them in mind.”
