BETBY lands chess titan as latest brand ambassador

BETBY has announced a new long-term partnership with chess icon Magnus Carlsen, the current world number one and recent recipient of the Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) award by the world chess governing body FIDE. 

In a statement, the sports betting supplier claimed that Carlsen’s “deep analysis of situations and foresight” aligns with BETBY’s aim of producing future-proof, “cutting-edge” sportsbook solutions. 

Leonid Pertsovskiy, BETBY CEO, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome an iconic figure like Magnus Carlsen to the BETBY family.

“His legacy in chess, alongside his passion for sports and mastery of decision-making, forward planning and creativity makes him the perfect global ambassador for our brand.”

Tabcorp takes Turkish racing Down Under  

The Jockey Club of Turkey has joined forces with Tabcorp and 1/ST CONTENT to allow Australia-based bettors access to Turkish racing via Sky Racing. 

The Australian operator will be able to distribute live coverage of Turkish racing via its various Sky Racing channels in Australia for tote and fixed-odds betting. 

Paul Carew, Tabcorp COO, explained: “Thanks to our wider strategic alliance with 1/ST CONTENT, together with Arena Racing and Racecourse Media Group, Sky Racing continues to strengthen its position as Australia’s passport to the best international racing, and this new deal eloquently demonstrates that point.” 

Simon Fraser, senior vice-president of international at 1/ST CONTENT, added: “This agreement once again shows the power and flexibility that our recent strategic alliance has secured, with the localised expertise to benefit a host of new global clients.”  

Delasport set for Brazilian push

Delasport has secured all the relevant approvals and checks to bring its services to the newly regulated Brazilian market.

The supplier has partnered with GLI and has subsequently been certified against GLI-33 and GLI-19.

The business said it will bring its full suite of personalisation, KYC, AML, payment and RG tools to operators in the market

Xace appoints igaming veteran as commercial lead

Xace has appointed former Yolo Group and Relax Gaming head Petra Maria Poola as group commercial director. 

In her new role, Poola is tasked with spearheading Xace’s commercial growth as well as the development of its brands, including the crypto and igaming-focused xda.io. 

Reflecting on her new position, Poola explained: “I am incredibly excited to start this new chapter with Xace and work alongside such a talented team and management. Transitioning into the fintech space, while still connected to igaming, presents an exciting opportunity for growth and learning.” 

Xace CEO Reuben Abela added: “Petra’s extensive background in the igaming sector, combined with her commercial acumen, makes her a valuable addition to the Xace team.”

Stakelogic secures Romanian boost 

Stakelogic has strengthened its position in Romania thanks to a new strategic integration with casino operator Games World Casino. 

The provider’s slots portfolio will now be available to the operator’s customers, including titles such as Stone Gaze of Medusa and The Watcher.

Neil Tanti, Stakelogic senior sales manager, explained: “Working alongside such a prominent casino in one of the fastest growing regions in Europe, is a great opportunity for us, which is why we are incredibly proud to be partnered with Game World Casino.”

Catalin Moise, Games World Casino COO declared: “Bolstering our portfolio with quality slots from providers such as Stakelogic is a normal step that we do to meet player’s expectations, and we are very excited for this new partnership.” 

Aristocrat first supplier to get UAE nod 

Aristocrat has become the first international supplier to receive a gaming-related vendor licence in the UAE, granted by the country’s General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). 

The licence means Aristocrat will now be able to provide land-based electronic gaming machines as well as online games and technology solutions to GCGRA-licensed operators.  

Hector Fernandez, Aristocrat Gaming CEO, said: “We are honoured to be the first large, international technology provider to be awarded a gaming-related vendor licence to serve the UAE market.

BETER joins forces with Playtech 

BETER has penned a partnership with Playtech that will grant its operator customers access to BETER’s portfolio, including its esports solution.

The deal will bolster Playtech’s offering to its operator partners, most notably via BETER’s ESportsBattle, which offers more than 35,000 events per month alongside 50 markets per event. 

“This is one of our most important partnerships to date. Playtech is a true giant of the industry, and we are thrilled to be integrating our esports content into its platform for its operator partners to access,” remarked Gal Ehrlich, BETER CEO. 

Yori Arami, vice-president of sport commercial at Playtech, added: “BETER has emerged as one of the leading providers for esports betting content and we are pleased to be able to offer our partners its well-recognised ESportsBattle tournaments.” 

Grupo da Sorte calls on Optimove 

Brazilian lottery operator Grupo da Sorte has chosen Optimove to bolster its player engagement and retention.

The CRM supplier will also offer Grupo da Sorte AI marketing capabilities as well as deliver personalised player communications as part of the deal.

Grupo da Sorte commercial director Tom Santos said: “With Optimove’s industry-leading CRM capabilities, we can now provide personalised, timely player interactions that match the fast-paced nature of lottery gaming.”

Felipe Costa Nadalini, Optimove account executive, explained: “The team at Grupo da Sorte recognises the impact that exceptional player experiences can have on driving business growth. As they focus on attracting and converting more players, we’re dedicated to helping them enhance player engagement and build lasting retention.”
