The Football Pools, commonly known as The Pools, has recently announced some significant leadership changes as part of its upcoming digital transformation strategy planned for 2025.
Firstly, Chris Williams, who previously served as Head of Product at LiveScore Group, has been appointed as the new Head of Product at The Pools. In his new position, Williams will draw on his extensive experience in developing applications, mobile, and web platform products to enhance The Pools’ multi-channel services.
Additionally, Matt Knowles has been brought on as the Head of CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Knowles will be responsible for improving The Pools’ strategies concerning customer relationships, loyalty programs, and customer satisfaction initiatives. His previous work with companies such as Betway, Gamesys, and Betfair has equipped him with skills in boosting customer retention and engagement.
Looking towards the future priorities for 2025, CEO James Arnold remarked, “As we move into 2025, strengthening our product offerings and enhancing relationships with our loyal customer base, while also attracting new clients, is crucial for our major rebranding efforts and growth objectives for 2025.”
These leadership changes follow The Pools’ recent multi-year partnership with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). This collaboration introduced GiG’s X-Suite of products, including the SportX sportsbook and CoreX igaming platform, into the UK market for the first time.
