Tabcorp has announced the appointment of Vivian Stewart to the company’s board as a non-executive director.

He will initially act as an ‘observer’ on the board when he joins the operator on 1 November 2025, before being formally appointed as a director following regulatory approval.

Stewart currently serves as an independent non-executive director at Australian internet service provider Superloop, where he also chairs the company’s risk and compliance committee.

He founded corporate advisory firm Callafin Partners in April 2014 and works as a partner at the company on a part-time basis.

Stewart also had a 10-year stay at software firm Bigtincan between November 2014 and October 2024, holding the role of COO from March 2018 to April 2024.

His COO experience extends to a stint with corporate advisory firm Hall Capital Strategies from 2005 to 2014.

Stewart additionally held a non-executive director role at art supply firm Walls360 between June 2011 and October 2017.

Tabcorp chair Brett Chenoweth, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Vivian to the Tabcorp board. He’s an experienced director with a deep knowledge of the telecommunications and technology sectors, which is critical as it underpins a large part of our business.

“His deep knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to evolve and innovate our product offerings. Vivian also brings substantial commercial experience to the business and we’re looking forward to adding his skillsets to the composition of our board.”

Last December, Tabcorp refreshed its senior leadership team with the appointments of Narelle McKenzie as chief legal officer and Jarrod Villani as chief commercial and media officer.

In August, Tabcorp reported revenue of A$2.6bn (£1.25bn) for its full-year 2025 results, representing an 11.8% increase year on year (YoY).

Group EBITDA for the year amounted to A$391.5m, up 23% YoY.
