Svenska Spel has reported a 2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in NGR for Q4 2025, which the group said was driven by growth in lottery and casino.
NGR for the quarter came in at SEK2.1bn (£171m), while Q4 2024 net gaming revenue stood just below that figure.
Operating profit increased 16% to SEK641m, a jump the group said was explained by the higher NGR and lower gaming tax costs.
By vertical, the sports betting and online casino business reported SEK585m in NGR an increase of 2% YoY, which the firm attributed to higher customer activity.
The group’s lottery arm, Tur, also reported 2% NGR growth against Q4 2024 to SEK1.5bn.
The operator said Tur’s success was offset by “slightly lower” NGR for its Eurojackpot product.
Group NGR for full-year 2025 was 1.6% up against 2024, at SEK7.69bn. Operating profit also increased 10% from SEK2.31bn to SEK2.54bn.
Anna Johnson, Svenska Spel CEO, said: “2025 has been a year marked by investments in growth and transformation of technology, organisation and culture to strengthen Svenska Spel and create long-term value.
“It has also been the first full year with our strategic goals – the gaming market’s most satisfied customers, healthy gaming and long-term sustainable growth – with progress in all areas.
“The end of the year is characterised by a continued positive earnings trend, with the outcome in the fourth quarter contributing to a strong full-year result.
“The group’s revenue is increasing, while both operating profit and operating margin are higher than the previous year. The equity ratio is strengthening and we are exceeding our financial targets for 2025.”
