Super Group has reported all-time high Q2 revenue of $684m (£508m), up 18.1% year-on-year (YoY), as the Betway parent “maximised the commercial boost” of the World Cup.

From the revenue total, $310m was derived from company’s Africa arm, with $368m coming from the international segment made up of Europe, the Americas and Rest of World. A further $6m in revenue came from brand licence fees from other regions.

Growth in Africa was driven by “exceptional sports and casino momentum trading and product efficiency improvements driving significant margin uplift, and continued product diversification and strategic promotional mechanics”.

Sportsbook revenue in the region increased 50% YoY to $108m, while igaming revenue increased 29.5% YoY to $202m.

The Americas generated $200m in revenue, down 2% YoY despite “sustained casino growth in Canada driven by product enhancements”.

The operator has since launched in the Alberta market, which went live on 13 July.

European revenue increased 22.2% YoY to $132m, with the company citing a continued uplift in sports and casino in the UK despite a difficult tax landscape in the market.

The Rest of World added an additional $36m, up from the $32m recorded in Q2 2025, owed to a “positive uplift in New Zealand despite discipline while awaiting local regulation”.

Overall, 78% of Super Group’s Q2 revenue came from online casino, with 22% from sports betting.

Elsewhere

  • Adjusted EBITDA increased 30% YoY to $204m, leaving an adjusted EBITDA margin of 30%
  • Average unique monthly active customers was up 13% to 6.2m
  • Cash and cash equivalents amounted to $548m

After factoring in costs of $516m and income taxes of $45m, net profit for the period came to $123m, up from the $3m loss incurred in Q2 2025.

In the wake of the record Q2, Super Group has raised its guidance for both revenue – up from $2.5bn to $2.6bn – and adjusted EBITDA, up from $680m to $710m.

Super Group’s share price climbed to $13.92 at the time of writing, up 1.68% from market open.

Prior to the results announcement, Betway announced a betting partnership with Manchester United, which includes a training kit sponsorship reportedly worth around £20m a year.
