Superbet has been named as the main sponsor of Greek football clubs Panathinaikos and PAOK on multi-year deals.

The partnerships will see the operator become both teams’ front-of-shirt sponsor.

Announcing the Panathinaikos deal on LinkedIn with a near two-minute video, four players are seen opening a box in the middle of the team’s Leoforos Alexandras Stadium as they then try to find a Superbet-branded lockbox.

When they find the hidden item, they open it to reveal the home shirt with the Superbet brand on the front.

The post read: “We promised to shake up the sports ecosystem in Greece, and we’re doing just that.

“For the next three years, our Superbet brand will proudly stand as the club’s main sponsor, marking the beginning of a bold collaboration built on a shared commitment to create unforgettable fan experiences.”

Alongside the Panathinaikos deal, Superbet also secured a deal with PAOK through to 2028.

Like the other agreement, Superbet will be the club’s main sponsor on the front of the team’s shirt, in what PAOK hailed as a “dynamic partnership at both a competitive and commercial level”.

A statement on the club’s website noted that the Romanian-headquartered operator has financially supported the Down Syndrome Association in Greece, with funds also contributing to the upgrade of Panathinaikos’ Academy facilities.

Both teams currently sit in the top four of Super League Greece, with PAOK in third place ahead of Panathinaikos in fourth.

The two announcements arrive shortly after the Super-owned brand entered the Greek market with a “sports-first” strategy.

The privately-owned business will offer sports betting and online casino in Greece.

The operator is now operational in six markets, serving players in Romania, Poland, Serbia, Belgium and Brazil.

Last November, Super Group rebranded to Super Technologies or “Super” but kept Superbet for its retail and online operations.

Company founder Sacha Dragic returned to the group at the start of the year, serving as sole CEO from 1 January 2026 onwards.
