Soft2Bet has announced the launch of MEGA Islands, a new gamification engine designed for improving retention in casinos and sportsbooks, which allows players to build and grow their own islands and get rewards.
MEGA Islands is the newest addition to the MEGA Suite, as it introduces a progression layer that gives players a reason to return through island-building, resource collection, and progression.
The MEGA Islands system was first added in Soft2Bet’s Lodur release, letting players earn resources over time, construct new buildings, upgrade existing ones, and unlock new stages of progression, with each level opening new goals and turning short sessions into long-term advancement.
MEGA Islands also has special mechanics for creating an additional path within the experience. This feature offers players the ability to plunder islands and get more resources to continue expanding, which keeps the progression loop active. The engine has no fixed endpoint, meaning that it supports repeat engagement through continuous building, collecting, and advancing.
Yoel Zuckerberg, CPO at Soft2Bet, commented:
“MEGA Islands is designed to make retention feel natural by giving players a progression journey they want to keep returning to. When players can build their own island, collect resources, and unlock upgrades through plundering, each session becomes part of a longer experience. That gives players a clear reason to return while providing operators with a retention tool that fits naturally across casinos and sportsbooks.”
The launch highlights Soft2Bet’s constant investment in gamification as a booster of long-term growth and gives operators a new method of creating stronger player journeys, longer engagement cycles, and higher value in international markets.
