Scientific Games has announced CFO Nick Negro will be leaving on Friday, 15 May, after three years, with former KPMG exec Ray Anderson stepping in on an interim basis.
Negro, who also held the role of senior vice-president, joined the lottery games supplier in February 2023 from Honeywell after a five-year stint at the manufacturer in various roles, including CFO and vice-president.
Prior to his time with the Fortune 500 firm, Negro was the CFO of several Dover Food operations between October 2014 and March 2018.
For 13-and-a-half years, between June 2011 to October 2014, the finance expert worked for Navistar, holding several positions including finance and accounting manager and director of finance and accounting to CFO of its South American operations.
Announcing his departure, Scientific Games said Negro was taking a role in Chicago to be closer to his family.
CEO Pat McHugh remarked: “Nick has been a strong member of our leadership team and an advocate for the potential of Scientific Games.
“During his time with the company, he significantly strengthened our financial and procurement organisations and helped position Scientific Games for continued growth. We thank Nick for his contributions and wish him all the best.”

In Negro’s place, Anderson will take charge on a temporary basis as the search for a permanent CFO begins.
The industry veteran has held a range of roles within KPMG since March 2003, most recently serving as global lead partner for the US division.
McHugh added: “Ray is a highly respected finance leader with extensive global experience advising large, complex organisations.
“We are confident in his ability to support the business and our finance organisation during this transition.”
In February, Scientific Games appointed Rich Wasserman to the role of senior vice-president of product engineering.
