Stats Perform has acquired the assets of Phenix Real Time Solutions for a fee of approximately $7m (£5.2m), according to reports.

Last June, venture capital firm KB Partners announced assets of the real-time streaming technology company were up for sale, due to the firm losing approximately $10m in 2023.

Customers of Phenix include Sports Information Services (SIS). The platform was put up for sale at the start of June 2025 with a deadline for interested bidders of 24 June 2025. The minimum bid at the time was set at $7.9m.

The deal will see the supplier’s RunningBall sports data team collect and distribute official FIFA betting data to licensed operators for “modelling, trading, settlement and in-play frontend use”.

Romy Gai, FIFA chief business officer, said: “We are delighted to partner with Stats Perform, a global leader in sports data. This innovative partnership will create great opportunities to deliver official products for the benefit of the game and its fans.”
