PrizePicks chief marketing officer (CMO) Mike Quigley has announced he is stepping down from his role with the Atlanta, Georgia-based operator.

Quigley departs having joined the company as CMO in February 2025.

During his tenure, PrizePicks inked several sponsorship agreements with MLB franchises including the San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves and LA Dodgers.

Commercials featuring the likes of NFL legend Marshawn Lynch and actor Adam Devine were also rolled out.

Prior to joining PrizePicks, he had a nine-year spell as CMO at mobile games developer Niantic from October 2015 to January 2025.

Quigley also spent two years as global marketing director for Niantic Labs at Google between 2013 and 2015.

Before a spell as director of consumer marketing at YouTube from August 2010 to January 2013, Quigley served as group vice-president of global marketing at Electronic Arts between July 2002 and January 2010.

Writing about his PrizePicks departure on LinkedIn, Quigley said: “After an exciting and fast-paced year as chief marketing officer at PrizePicks, I’ve made the decision to transition out of my role at the company.

“When I joined PrizePicks last year following a 12-year run at Niantic, I was energised by the opportunity to help scale one of the most innovative and disruptive companies in daily fantasy sports – and to help expand into emerging areas like prediction markets. It’s a category unlike any other: dynamic, competitive and evolving in real time.

“I’m incredibly proud of what we built together in such a relatively short time – broadening the PrizePicks brand appeal to new audiences, scaling our creator and influencer ecosystem, launching and expanding major league partnerships (including MLB and soon the NBA) and strengthening an already talented marketing and communications organisation.

“Most importantly, I’m grateful for the people – smart, resilient passionate operators who show up every day ready to compete.

“PrizePicks remains extremely well positioned for continued growth, and I’ll be cheering the team on as they continue to build and put up more wins in this exciting space.”

Back in January, Allwyn completed its majority acquisition of PrizePicks in a $1.5bn deal. Since then, the operator has partnered with Kalshi and Polymarket to add prediction markets to its offering.

The operator would then go on to re-enter the New York market in February, two years after first exiting the Empire State.
