February marks the 25-year anniversary of Playtime Casino Hanover with venue welcoming over 6.7 million visitors across the gaming floor since opening.
In 2019, Gateway completed an $18m renovation and rebrand of the property to Playtime Casino Hanover. It created 100 new jobs for the local community and also introduced new restaurants and enhanced amenities offering guests an elevated and more enjoyable experience.
As the host municipality, the Town of Hanover has benefited by receiving a share of the net gaming revenue from Playtime Casino Hanover. In fiscal 2024/2025 the city received $1.28 million in Host Local Government Payments generated by the casino. From its opening until December 2025, the gaming facility in Hanover has generated $25,013,195 for its host town to fund municipal priorities. To mark its anniversary, Playtime is proud to donate $1,000 to the Hanover District Hospital Foundation, reinforcing its commitment to the local community.
