Playnetic has announced the appointment of David Mann as its new CEO, replacing Dan Phillips in the process.
The supplier said Mann, who recently departed as Swintt CEO, was being brought in to “spearhead the company’s next phase of expansion”.
Since launching in January 2024, Playnetic has secured licences in Malta, Sweden, Romania, Greece, and Ontario, and created 40 new games.
Having served as Swintt boss since 2022, Mann spent six-and-a-half years at the supplier. He was initially hired as a business development director in May 2019.
In September, Swintt owners Glitnor Group announced a £48m investment from HG Vora Capital Management for the facilitation of expansion and M&A.
Phillips, a former vice-president of UK operations for Playtech, founded Playnetic in 2023. He announced he would step down last year, with a new leadership team due to be put in place.
Phillips said : “David’s appointment marks a new chapter for Playnetic.
“His strategic vision, proven leadership and passion for innovation make him the ideal leader to guide Playnetic through its next stage of global growth.
“I look forward to working with him as we continue to establish the business as an industry leader.”
