Online slot revenue reached 34.5%, while iGaming table games climbed 24.2%, reinforcing Pennsylvania’s position as one of the most robust digital gaming markets in the US.
For the second month in a row, Valley Forge Casino Resort emerged as the top revenue-generating operator, posting $99.1 million in total revenue, a 16.1% increase from April 2024. It narrowly outpaced Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, which reported $97.7 million, up 24.7% year-over-year.
Rivers Casino Philadelphia recorded $56.2 million, a 14.5% increase over the previous year. Parx Casino followed closely with $54.2 million, up 0.78% from April 2024.
Despite the overall growth, slot machine revenue across the state dipped slightly, falling 1.6% year-over-year to $203.1 million. Parx Casino still led all operators in slot revenue, earning $31.4 million, down 0.72% from last year. Wind Creek Bethlehem brought in $22.5 million (down 0.72%), and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh posted $20.9 million, marking a 3% decline from April 2024.
On the digital front, iGaming revenue totaled $227.7 million for the month. Hollywood Casino at Penn National topped the list with $83.2 million, up 33.5% year-over-year. Valley Forge Casino Resort saw a 38.7% boost to $66.7 million, while Rivers Casino Philadelphia brought in $35.9 million, up 17.1%.
Sports betting also contributed significantly, generating $42.5 million in revenue from a total handle of $711.6 million. Valley Forge Casino Resort led the category with $20.1 million in revenue from $269.8 million in wagers. Hollywood Casino at the Meadows reported $12.1 million from $185.6 million, and Presque Isle Downs and Casino in Erie added $1.91 million from a handle of $34.2 million.
