PawaTech, the parent company of Africa-facing operator betPawa, has hired former evoke head of trading performance Stuart Dallimore as head of trading.
Dallimore spent three-and-a-half years at evoke, starting as head of football trading before moving to his last role in August 2025.
Prior to evoke, Dallimore served at Sky Betting & Gaming from October 2011 to September 2022.
During his time with the Leeds-based operator, he held the roles of sports trader, football trader, football trading supervisor, football trading manager and senior football trading manager, consecutively.
Based in Tallinn, Estonia, pawaTech serves the African market via its betPawa B2C brand.
The brand is live in 16 African markets, including Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania. The operator also claims to have seven million quarterly users.
PawaTech joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) in June last year, while it is a sponsor of the Ghanian Football Association and the Federation of Uganda Basketball Association.
Three weeks ago, Dallimore posted on his LinkedIn page: “After three great years at evoke (two major tournaments and multiple Everton relegation scraps), I’ll be finishing up on 13 March.
“It’s been a significant chapter – real challenges and the chance to work with some genuinely top people.
“I’m proud of what we’ve built and the standards we’ve set, leading both the football and offers team and later the trading performance team.
Today he commented on the move: “I’m delighted to get started with such an ambitious, fast-growing company.
“With my years of experience in trading, this move feels like a great fit, and I am genuinely excited about the challenges and learning opportunities that come with joining PawaTech.”
