OlyBet has become an official partner of the Open de France, which kicks off today (10 October) at Le Golf National, nestled on the outskirts of Paris, France.

The deal marks a natural progression in the operator’s relationship with the DP World Tour – of which it is currently the official european betting partner of – and promises ‘extensive visibility’ for the brand throughout the event.

This features a dedicated Tournament Village activation area, exclusive meet-and-greets with celebrity golfers, and a branded chalet designed for customer engagement.

Corey Plummer, CEO of Olympic Entertainment and OlyBet Group, said: “The Open de France presents an excellent opportunity to enhance our activations within the DP World Tour framework.”

It was March 2023 that OlyBet became the official betting operator of the DP World Tour in a two-year collaboration.

The original deal, which covers Europe, with the exception of the UK and Ireland, saw the betting company aim to bring ‘more unique golf moments’ to sports fans via access to the men’s professional golf tour.

“We are eager to provide fans with a mix of competitive entertainment, top-notch hospitality, and an intimate look at the sport’s elite players,” Plummer continued on the latest advancement.

Additionally, OlyBet will also collaborate with the DP World Tour’s ‘Beat The Pro’ initiative, which the pair stated allows fans to ‘engage in friendly competition’ with some of the world’s best golfers.

Max Hamilton, Executive Commercial Director for the DP World Tour, added: “We are thrilled to have OlyBet on board at Le Golf National for this week’s event.

“Their ‘Beat the Pro’ activation exemplifies how our partnerships can create unique opportunities for fans to challenge themselves against stars of the Tour in an unforgettable setting.”

OlyBet also recently organised summer golf tournaments across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, with successful participants earning spots in the Open de France Pro-Am.
