A bumper summer transfer window saw football specials rank as the fourth most-clicked category across oddschecker, according to the latest data from the affiliate.
Premier League clubs splashed a record £3.2bn on new signings this summer, with Liverpool breaking the British transfer record by bringing in Newcastle forward Alexander Isak for £125m.
The Reds also splashed £116.5m on Florian Wirtz and £79m on Hugo Ekitike, meaning the three most-expensive deals in England were completed by the Anfield club.
Oddschecker has revealed that the ‘Club After Summer Transfer Window’ market accounted for 90% of all football specials bets in August.
Swedish striker Isak’s future was a core reason behind the attention, driving 47% of all clicks in the market.

Manchester United’s new number 30 Benjamin Šeško captured 24% of all clicks, with Eberechi Eze, who joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace, taking 8%.
Oddschecker said: “This window proved that the appetite for new, specialised markets beyond traditional 1X2 is stronger than ever, with the oddschecker grids right at the heart of it.”
Away from the transfer window, oddschecker said its bet builder hub had become a “battleground for clickshare”.
Populated by seven operators, the hub delivered more than 350,000 clickouts for oddschecker’s operator partners last season.
As per oddschecker data from June, bet365 had a 40% clickshare for the bet builder comparison tool last year.
The Stoke-on-Trent-based giant was some way ahead of second-placed BetMGM with its 16% share.
“User research shows the opportunity is huge. Some 57% of non-oddschecker bettors currently compare bet builder prices across multiple sites and apps, creating friction. Meanwhile, 74% of those who don’t say they would if it were simple and seamless,” oddschecker added.

Elsewhere, bet365 increased its clickshare across oddschecker in August by 1.2 percentage points versus July.
William Hill improved its betshare by 6.4 percentage points, while Midnite’s acquisition skyrocketed 662% ahead of the new Premier League season.
BoyleSports saw its ‘Bet £10 get £40 in free bets’ promo named the best performing offer, while kwiff outperformed the market in registration to deposit conversion (92% versus 65% average).
