NOVOMATIC AG has signed an agreement with the Tipico Group for the sale of its 100 per cent stake in ATLAS Group, the parent company of the ADMIRAL Group in Austria, subject to certain conditions such as regulatory approvals.
The Tipico Group, a provider of sports betting and online slot games in Germany, sees this investment as an important step to further strengthen its position in Austria and expand its portfolio. The NOVOMATIC AG Group supports this decision with a stronger focus on international business development as a global innovation leader in the industry.
Atlas operates 20 bookmakers and more than 30 different types of sports offered in more than 250 branches. The gaming operation consists of 2,387 gaming machines at 150 locations in five federal states (Burgenland, Carinthia, Lower Austria, Upper Austria and Styria).
