Novomatic and Spielbanken MV have opened the doors to the largest casino in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Germany with Spielbank Rostock covering 1,300 square meters and offering 130 machines along with live games.
“The new casino in Rostock is our most attractive and sophisticated location in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania,” said Frank Potyralla, Director of Spielbanken MV.
The casino at Petridamm is also the venue offering live game with four roulette tables, two tables each of blackjack and poker, as well as up to ten poker tables in the club area.
“Our goal is to have poker tournaments take place at up to 10 tables in the club. Bands or comedians can also perform there and events can be booked,” said Roger Cziwerny, Marketing Manager of Spielbanken MV.
The topic of sustainability was also taken into account here. “The exhaust air from our machines is converted by heat recovery and thus supplies the site with thermal energy,” said Potyralla.
Novomatic has already installed the largest photovoltaic system in Lower Austria into operation, and the Rostock casino is now following suit and putting thousands of cells on the roof at its largest location in Rostock.
