Novibet has named industry newcomer Vasili Rappos as its new chief product and experience officer.
Rappos joins the Greek firm after more than six years with mobile games developer Scopely.
He originally joined the firm behind titles including Monopoly GO and Star Trek Fleet Command in December 2017 as a lead product manager in the roadmap department.
In October 2021, Rappos was promoted to director of product within the division.
Prior to moving to Scopely, Rappos spent 18 months with media firm Whisper as its director of product manager and more than three years with virtual keyboard app Fleksy.
Rappos had previously been based in the US but will return to Greece to take on the C-suite role with Novibet.
His arrival comes after Konstantinos Andris was named Novibet’s chief administration officer last month.
Andris has been with the business for more than nine years and shifted over from his previous position as chief M&A officer. He had also served as COO.
On his move to Novibet, Rappos said: “It’s a bold new chapter – stepping into a business that combines scale and serious ambition in one of the most competitive and fast-growing spaces in tech.

Earlier this year, Novibet CFO Al Alevizakos confirmed his departure from the business after pan-European lottery giant Allwyn took a 51% share in Novibet.
Allwyn snapped up the stake in the business in a deal worth up to €327m, with an initial €217m to be paid upfront.
