Owner Alliance Global Group registered a record high in net income of P30.6bn
Travellers International, owned by Andrew Tan’s Alliance Global Group, has reported that its Philippine integrated casino resort, Newport World Resorts (NWR), saw net revenues improve to P31.9bn, up by two per cent in 2025.
This was achieved on the back of a four per cent growth in net gaming revenue to P24.2bn which cushioned the four per cent decline in hotel and other revenue to P7.6bn coming off a high base. EBITDA over the same period grew by seven per cent to P9bn, supported by cost management efforts. Attributable profit increased 21 per cent to P1.5bn, aided further by lower financial charges.
Newport World Resorts bucked the overall trend of decline in the Phillipines where revenues from licensed casinos declined by 9.58 per cent to Php182.5bn. PAGCOR-operated casinos also sustained the decline in revenues with Php12.52bn, reflecting a 20.95 per cent year-on-year drop.
Overall, Alliance Global Group registered a record high in net income of P30.6bn in 2025, reflecting a 10 per cent growth from P27.9-billion the year before. Consolidated revenue reached P189.7bn, supported by higher contributions from real estate and leisure and entertainment. Attributable profit stood at P20.7bn, up by 19 per cent year-on-year.
“Once again, the Group delivered another strong financial and operating performance in 2025 despite macroeconomic headwinds. Most of our businesses surpassed peer levels, particularly in the office, retail residential, and leisure and hospitality segments,” said Kevin L. Tan, chief executive officer, AGI.
“Our profitability was further supported by conscious cost efficiency measures which we intend to continue implementing across the business.”
