Evoke has announced more than 300,000 players entered William Hill’s new ‘Final One Standing’ free-to-play game during the Premier League’s opening weekend.
The new game, which launched alongside the start of the 2025-26 Premier League season, has been hailed by William Hill as one of the operator’s “most exciting product launches to date”.
The premise of the game sees players pick one Premier League team to win each week. Correct predictions mean the player progresses throughout the season with a chance to win a £500,000 jackpot.
The same team cannot be picked twice. For example, if a punter backed Liverpool to beat Bournemouth last Friday, they could not choose the Reds when they face Newcastle on Monday, 25 August.
Final One Standing has been embedded into the William Hill app, with both public and private games available to customers.
The operator said the new game, which has been delivered in partnership with Engage Games, would form a central part of its football marketing efforts this season.
Sixty-second and 30-second spots have been created for the game, with William Hill working with advertising agency T&P to produce the ads.
The campaign is live across TV, VOD, social, digital, press, out-of-home, podcasts and radio.
William Hill said the launch of Final One Standing would allow it to “attract new customers, deepen engagement with existing players and deliver improved ROI on marketing spend”.

Alongside Final One Standing going live, the operator added it had “evolved” its football accumulator offering with a new acca boost functionality.
Based on the number of selections in an accumulator, punters can be rewarded with up to a 100% boost (for 15 or more legs). The boost starts at 5% for four legs.
The boost only applies to 90 minutes results, 90 minutes two up, both teams to score and under/over on goals.
Sandro Di Michele, William Hill sportsbook director, said: “We are really pleased that over 300,000 customers have entered Final One Standing, with entries growing daily. This is a brand new and truly exciting way for football fans to test their knowledge and compete for jackpot prizes.
“This all aligns with our value creation plan which is centered around our leading brands and products. This innovative eliminator format enables us to reach new customers while deepening customer loyalty and engagement among our existing player base.”
Ryan Lawrence, Betmate and Engage Games founder, added: “Final One Standing brings something genuinely different to the market – a social, accessible format that is built for repeat play and wider appeal.
“Working closely with the team at William Hill, we have combined their scale with our expertise in peer-to-peer games to launch a product that’s simple to play, rewarding to win and easy to share among friends”.
