Casino de Monte-Carlo Atrium

A fixture of the Principality since 1863, the Casino de Monte-Carlo is introducing a more immersive Atrium experience for 2026, combining a large-scale Monopoly installation, new themed slot content and an expanded Café Rotonde offer.

At the centre of the activation is a reimagined Monopoly environment, featuring a giant game board, oversized tokens, houses and hotels, and a three-metre-tall Mr. Monopoly figure. Running until May 17, the installation builds on the launch of the exclusive Monopoly Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer edition introduced last December, extending the brand’s presence onto the casino floor.

The rollout also includes the European premiere of Monopoly Big Board Bucks from Aristocrat Gaming, unveiled during a dedicated event in the Salle Renaissance. Eight machines were introduced initially, with four transferring to the nearby Casino Café de Paris on April 20 as part of a wider property activation.

Alongside the gaming and promotional elements, the Café Rotonde has been repositioned as a complementary leisure space within the Atrium. Now open from 10:00 to 20:00 with continuous service, the venue incorporates authentic 1930s slot machines into its décor and expands its offer to include a broader pastry and beverage selection inspired by gaming themes.

New creations developed by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s pastry division include the “Tuxedo” (72 per cent dark chocolate crémeux with choux pastry), “Lucky Dice” (Piedmont hazelnut centre with praline cream) and “Playing Card” (caramelised puff pastry with tonka whipped cream and raspberries). These sit alongside an updated drinks menu featuring signature cocktails such as the “Jackpot Monkey”, “Lucky Calabrese” and “Four Aces”.

The combined activation reflects a continued focus on blending gaming, hospitality and entertainment within a single environment, as the Casino de Monte-Carlo looks to extend dwell time and create a more layered customer experience across its flagship property.
