Mike Tyson has announced that he will take to the stage at Hard Rock casinos later this year to perform his one-man show, “Return of the Mike.”

The 59-year-old announced plans for the show, following news that he will also return to the ring to take on Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition fight. The show has set four dates:

  • Hard Rock Casino Rockford – November 9
  • Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati – November 23
  • Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood – December 14
  • Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City – January 23

The December show in Florida is scheduled to be recorded for a “major streaming platform.” After the tour concludes, the fight against Mayweather is planned for next spring.

Show Features Lawsuits & Sad Stories – ‘Pretty Riveting’

Tyson last did a one-man show in 2013 when he performed in “Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth” in 36 cities. Speaking to ESPN, the veteran boxer promised that the show will reveal all the trials and tribulations in his life from his last show to the present day.

“A lot has happened since the last time I did a one-man show,” Tyson said. “I get to tell you guys about all of my new lawsuits that you don’t know about and some other pretty exciting stuff that has happened in my life. It’ll be very exciting, pretty riveting, a few sad stories and a totally different insight on the things that you may have already known about.”

He will also go into detail about the experience of fighting Jake Paul last year, his first ring fight in front of fans in over 20 years.

“It was scary, because I hadn’t walked out for a professional fight [in front of a crowd] in 20 years, and I wasn’t prepared for all the love the fans gave me that night. It overwhelmed me.”

New Spotlight Could Produce More Crashes Into iGaming

Ahead of the fight with Paul, Tyson delved into iGaming with the release of Mike Tyson’s Crash. The crash game produced by Jogo Global allows players to set their stakes before wagering on how well Tyson performs on an arcade-style boxing machine.

His new tour and fight with Mayweather may lead to further partnership opportunities. Tyson has allowed his image to be used for numerous slots and online casino games. Additionally, he became a brand ambassador for the betting company Parimatch in 2020.

Last year, he also partnered with online casino Rabona. The relationship quickly turned sour, and the company sued Tyson in December last year over claims the boxer violated their agreement in favor of fighting Paul. This could be one of the lawsuits the fighter will discuss in his upcoming show.
