Midnite has launched its “Brace Yourself” campaign, giving fans of Sheffield United and Southampton a chance to win £1,000 during each home game throughout the season.

As the front-of-shirt sponsor for Sheffield United and the back-of-shirt sponsor for Southampton, Midnite will award a cash prize to a fan aged 18 or older at every home game, provided a home player scores twice in that match.

If a brace is not scored during a game, the prize money will be carried over to the next home match. Additionally, Midnite plans to match the prize pool with donations to charities closely linked with each club.

Fans interested in entering the sweepstakes can do so by scanning one of the QR codes located around Bramall Lane and St Mary’s stadiums or in the matchday programs. A seat number will be randomly selected before the start of the game as the potential winner.

The “Brace Yourself” campaign is set to begin on Saturday, August 9, with Southampton hosting Wrexham at St Mary’s and Sheffield United squaring off against Bristol City.

Andrew Mook, the head of brand marketing at Midnite, said, “We aim to keep fans excited throughout the season. The possibility of the prize increasing if not won initially will only add to the excitement. Moreover, matching the fan prize with donations to local charities underscores our commitment to the communities supporting each club.”

Last month, Midnite announced its sponsorship deals with the two football clubs, set to continue for one year.

The Midnite logo will be prominently displayed across both stadiums, including on Sheffield United’s home match team sheets, matchday programs, and both clubs’ social media channels, as well as near Southampton’s dugout.

Recently, Midnite has intensified its marketing efforts, including sponsoring Channel 5’s coverage of the FIFA Club World Cup and becoming the official betting and casino partner for the World Snooker Championship.

The company also recently secured $10 million (£7.5 million) in a Series B funding round completed in April.

This new campaign aims to engage and reward the loyal supporters of Southampton and Sheffield United, offering them chances to win cash every time a home player scores a brace.
