Ten years ago, the Merkur Casino Magdeburg opened its doors for the first time and celebrated with numerous guests from politics, business, society and the media. Now the operators of the casino in the industrial area on the Pfahlberg had another reason to celebrate: With a top-class anniversary event, the casino celebrated its tenth anniversary on April 15 and impressively demonstrated what it has stood for for a decade: modern entertainment, first-class service and a positive attitude to life. More than 500 visitors did not miss the opportunity to attend the festivities.
Around the festively staged event, guests were greeted by a stylish reception with sparkling wine and an exquisite flying buffet. Walking acts, including paparazzi performances and impressive stilt walkers at the entrance, created a special atmosphere right from the start. While presenter Tommy Lücke led through the evening in his usual charming and entertaining way, DJ Rob Vandenberg in combination with a live saxophonist provided the appropriate musical accompaniment. Show artist Kalvin Kalvus also thrilled the audience with his ball juggling.

Last year, the voluntary association for youth welfare, which campaigns for adolescent girls and young women, was already awarded almost 10,000 euros.
The crowning finale of the birthday celebrations was the Big Casino Game Show, where the chance to win 3,000 euros in cash awaited the participants in addition to many other cash prizes. Until the big heartbeat finale, the presenters Tommy Lücke and Malin skilfully let the tension rise immeasurably. The thrill in the hall was literally tangible until the winner of the main prize was finally determined and the jubilant atmosphere on stage rounded off the varied evening.
