The Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4), an independent and internationally recognized testing body, has certified that Merkur Casino Mare meets the highest standards of player protection in gambling.
The subsidiary of the Merkur Group, which has been part of the group of companies since 2016, offers casino gaming on three ships in the TUI fleet with a combination of classic and slot games. The multi-day audit came back with a remarkable result of more than 95 percent of the maximum possible score.
The G4 certification is considered the benchmark for responsible gambling worldwide, setting strict standards for gambling disorder prevention, employee training, and transparency. With this excellent result, Merkur Casino Mare underlines its claim not only to offer first-class entertainment at sea, but also to attach great importance to player protection. The successful certification confirms, among other things, the consistent implementation of a comprehensive social concept and intensive employee training as well as the transparent information and advisory services for guests. A total of around 100 criteria were examined.
