In the latest data released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), Macau’s casinos brought in $2.27 billion in gross gaming revenue this September.
That total is down 17.5% from August, which posted $2.77 billion, the strongest month of 2025 most so far. However, September 2025 reflects a 6% gain from the revenues recorded in the same month last year.
Compared to the previous year, Macau’s casino GGR registered a growth of 7.1% to $22.5 billion during the first nine months of 2025. Even so, it remains a 17.7% decrease from the same period in 2019, when revenue reached S$27.4 billion.
September 2025 results were affected by weather disruption, with casinos closing down for a total of 33 hours, 15 hours on 5 and 6 September with Typhoon Tapah and 18 hours on 18 and 19 September with Super Typhoon Ragasa.
