Announced today, the sportsbook will soon be available in all 16 states across Germany. Sports betting enthusiasts can access it through the LeoVegas.de site, which already provides online slot games to players in the region.

The operator is planning a nationwide marketing campaign titled ‘Thrill Seeker’ to promote this new service, set to kick off in December. This campaign will feature on several platforms, including television and various affiliate channels.

LeoVegas has been offering online slots under its German gaming license, issued to LVSports Limited, a branch of LeoVegas Group, in March of the previous year.

“Introducing our sportsbook to the German market is a thrilling milestone for LeoVegas Group as we broaden our reach,” expressed Gustaf Hagman, CEO of LeoVegas Group. “Germany is one of Europe’s sporting giants, and we are confident that players will appreciate LeoVegas.de as a comprehensive destination for an outstanding igaming experience.”

### MGM Continues Expanding LeoVegas

The launch in Germany is the latest step in LeoVegas’ expansion following its acquisition by MGM Resorts International. MGM took over LeoVegas in November 2022 through a deal valued at around $604 million (£476 million/€571.5 million).

In the past year, LeoVegas completed the acquisition of game developer Push Gaming in September. Additionally, in June, it reached an agreement to purchase Tipico Group’s US sportsbook and online casino platforms.

In another development this September, LeoVegas unveiled its new in-house gaming studio named LeoVegas Studios. This dedicated team focuses on creating slot games exclusively for the LeoVegas Group.

Besides LeoVegas, the group’s portfolio also includes brands such as Pink Casino, Royal Panda, and BetMGM available in both the UK and the Netherlands.
