LeoVegas Group is planning to launch its propriety online casino games in the UK after submitting licence applications with the Gambling Commission (GC).
The operator’s Slammer Studios Limited subsidiary currently has pending applications with the regulator for a gambling software licence and a casino licence.
Slammer Studios, formerly known as Blue Guru Games, acts as the legal entity for the operator’s in-house LeoVegas Studios arm, EGR understands.
The subsidiary already holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA).
LeoVegas Studios launched in September 2024 with the aim of producing slots exclusively for the LeoVegas Group brands.
Former Light & Wonder chief Mats Andersson heads up the division.
As per the studio’s website, the in-house supplier has rolled out 19 games since its inception.
LeoVegas Studios’ most recent launches include Cash Goal, Curupira and Minecart Madness.
The games are available across LeoVegas Group brands including BetMGM, expect, GoGo Casino, Royal Panda and the eponymous LeoVegas.

The majority of the 19 titles are live across Sweden, MGA-licensed markets and Brazil, with a handful approved for use in the Netherlands.
Speaking to EGR last year, LeoVegas Group CEO Mattias Wedar said LeoVegas Studios was a key innovation driver for the igaming-first operator.
LeoVegas Gaming holds several B2C licences, while Push Gaming is a licensed supplier in the UK.
LeoVegas Group and Push Gaming are both owned by US casino giant MGM Resorts International.
MGM Resorts International snapped up Push Gaming in May 2023 as part of its planned investment into LeoVegas Group, which it acquired for more than $600m in 2021.
The Las Vegas giant then acquired Tipico’s US-facing sportsbook tech to hand LeoVegas Group a leg up in building out a proprietary sports betting offer.
Since rebranded to Tiger, LeoVegas Group has rolled out the tech across multiple brands and markets, including in Brazil, Sweden and Denmark.
A LeoVegas Group spokesperson said: “Slammer is the legal entity for our proprietary games developed by in-house LeoVegas Studios.
“This standard licensing application ensures we can provide these proprietary games to the UK market under that legal entity.”
