Twenty First Group (TFG) chief betting officer Andy Wright is set to join LeoVegas Group as its managing director for the UK and Ireland.
The software firm confirmed the move today, 30 September, with former PENN Entertainment exec Will Stephenson being named as Wright’s successor.
Stephenson joins the firm having served as PENN’s vice-president of sportsbook operations and partnerships since October 2024.
He originally joined the ESPN Bet operator in February 2022 as vice-president of risk and trading.
The new TFG exec also counts spells with Metric Gaming, Addison Global and Spreadex on his industry CV across a host of trading roles.
Wright joined TFG last year, having previously spent time as senior vice-president of trading for Fanatics and as trading director for KingMakers.
The exec spent more than seven years with Sky Betting & Gaming, culminating in his position as trading director with the Leeds-based bookmaker.
As LeoVegas Group’s managing director for the UK and Ireland, Wright will oversee brands such as BetMGM, BetUK and Pink Casino.
Stephenson remarked: “I am hugely excited to join TFG and continue the company’s push into the gaming space with precisely modelled betting markets expertly built to solve operator problems, adding depth to the sportsbook offer.”
Blake Wooster, TFG CEO, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Will to TFG. His proven track record in trading, operations and partnerships, combined with his deep knowledge of both B2C and B2B sportsbook dynamics, make him an invaluable addition to our leadership team.
“Will joins TFG following the remarkable tenure of Andy Wright, whose leadership in our betting and gaming business has set a very high bar.
“Will’s appointment underscores our ambition to deliver innovative betting products that leverage TFG’s predictive performance insights to create real commercial value for operators.”
A LeoVegas Group spokesperson added: “We are pleased to be welcoming Andy to LeoVegas Group in the coming months. His wealth of experience will be invaluable as we continue the group’s growth journey.”
